The original purpose for this fryer was for corn dogs - either "Foot Long" or regular. Many people fry other specialty fun foods such as Cheese Dogs, Shrimp Rolls, or Fried veggies. Skewer clip assembly is "spring loaded" and can be quickly removed. Fryer basket is available for Bacon Puffs. 30 lb. cooking oil capacity. Drains are necessary for safe operations. Fryer comes with two standard six position skewer clip assemblies. The voltage in this unit is sufficient for corn dogs or light frying - but not high enough for heavy duty french frying. 1800 watts, 120 volts. 10"W x 22"D x 15"H. Includes drain valve. Ship Weight 29 lbs. The 8047D fryer should be operated with only one skewer clip assembly. The recovery rate is too slow for more.
