Read the ingredients list on your favorite yogurt and then come right back. I'll wait.Okay - the list is probably long and weird. Food dyes, thickeners, preservatives - maybe aspartame or sucralose - and on and on. We're really trying to do what we can to reduce the amount of "weird" in our daily diets. Less processed food! The Dash Go Yogurt maker lets us do just that. We start with the excellent plain yogurt the machine produces and flavor it any way we like. We're back in charge!Don't expect to dump in ingredients and then scoop out yogurt, but if you follow the instructions - the Dash Go Yogurt Maker really does a great job. I usually use the microwave to heat the milk to the required temperature - 180 degrees F - which takes around ten minutes. Not really a big deal, but you do need to keep a close eye on the temperature of the milk; might want to order a good fast read digital thermometer at the same time as the Dash Go. Bottom line, works as advertised, it's simple and small, and produces inexpensive, tasty yogurt without the "weird."
