If Darth Vader had a Wii, this would be the remote he'd choose. And after using these for about a half hour with the Wii Fit, Darth and I had the same breathing problem.This remote, however, worked great, even if I didn't. I put the batteries in it, and it connected with ease to the Wii, by just pressing the button on the Wii and the sync button on the remote. As you can might be able to tell by now, I'm not exactly a techie. So I need everything to be ultra simple, and work right out of the box. This remote did. And if, during the Wii Fit workout, I wanted to throw the remote at the tv screen, and I was wheezing like Darth on a really bad day, it was not the fault of the remote plus thingie. It did everything it was supposed to do. And tomorrow, I'll probably kill a lot more snowmen.Be careful when ordering this "bulk packing item" - description says the item is a "new" "Nintendo" "Original Wii Remote Plus" "Includes the silicone sleeve".Instead, what I received looked like at best a very old refurbished unit, or possibly a fake (albeit a good one) with no sleeve.The one I got was full of finger prints, light scratches, the connectors looked dull and old, the the battery cover was not the original (see picture comparing original to what was received). Also, the strap was not the original either - did not have any way to tighten it around your wrist..I am returning mine.Had some problems getting them to pair at first, but I have an older wii. Might just be me. That rhymedI want to re-submit my review. I had ordered two of these and couldn't get them to sync. Well, it turns out I was missing a step. There is a sync button on the console. I am bummed that I returned them before finding this out. They were a Great deal!!This product is supposed to be a single wii remote plus, instead, I got two wii remotes - neither of which are wii remote plus. I specifically bought this controllers to play games that require wii motion plus, so they are all but useless to me. In addition, one of the controller's directional pads does not work.As a final, albeit minor issue, both remotes I received were white, when I was supposed to get a black one.Took forever to get here (ok, not forever, it was a few weeks, but there was no way to get it sooner even with Prime), but the remote works perfectly. Super easy to connect to the Wii as well. Also, the cover comes with it... So glad I didn't buy one!My fiancé got me this tablet for an early Christmas gift and I love it! It's everything I need it to do like play old PlayStation games on it! It's the perfect size too, nothing to big or nothing to small. I'm glad I got it and I love it!!After working for 3 days it stopped and wouldn't sync back to the Wii. Ended up getting an "official" Nintendo Wii remote. Had there not been something wrong with the product, i would say 5 stars. The quality is nice and you wouldn't know it wasn't the official brand name otherwise.
