These are spicy with a lot of citric acid and chili flavor. If your expectations are sugary chili mangoes then dont buy these. These are more like Mexican spicy with a ton of paprika flavor.I was so excited when I ordered this product. I love chili mango and I usually got it from Sprout. I was disappointed when I got the product...the chili mango was wet and have bitter after taste. I checked the expiration date is good until 2023. But why did the entire bag taste horrible like they're old?.Horrible...won't buy this no more!!!I've had a lot of "spicy" dried mango and this version is my worst in my opinion. The flavor is ok, but the seasoning is just caked on and makes for a really chalky texture.This is my first Amazon review and these things are so good I had to. I almost let the few bad reviews sway me away from ordering. Thank god I still ordered. I’ve tried many Spicy Dried Mango brands and there’s always something wrong. More often than not, it’s always the amount of spiciness combined with the flavor of the mangos the companies use. It’s always hot or miss but this brand… not only is it just the right amount of spice but the mangoes themselves are perfect. They’re gummy almost and have a fresh feel to their bite. I LOVE gummy candy and these things are so fluffy and juicy, it’s almost like biting into a sweet, spicy gummy bear. They were so good I had to take time away from work to write this review. I will most definitely continue buying this brand. It truly excites me to find quality products. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.Taste is not that bad, however not the mexican chilimango you will expect.I hate that the mangy feels stringy, lots of hairy mango pieces between teeth. This doesnt happen with better quality chilli mangoes I've tasted.It had a taste that was like petroleum. Unfortunately I could not eat it or return it.I feel like there’s a decent amount of product for price, pieces are nice large slices and fully covered in seasoning. Prices are tender and not hard.I was expecting a sweet n spicy combo but there so spicy it overpowers any sweetness. These will definitely clear your sinuses.Seem to be of good quality just wish the coating was sugar and the spices or. Just less heat would be good as well. I love spicy food but 2-3 slices and I’m done with these. I almost want to try coating these in milk chocolate because chili chocolate is amazingBest tasting chili mango I've bought from Amazon!
