Now, why the four stars if I love it? Because the fork doesn’t wrap around noodles easily. I was eating Swedish Meatballs with this utensil and it cut the meatball in half nicely, it speared the meatball nicely, but I could not get the noodles to wrap around the fork side. It did scoop the noodles and meatballs nicely with the fork side and the spoon side worked well with that, too.The utensil worked well with chicken tiki masala with rice.I use this for work lunches and put a set in my travel bag. I think it is rather cool and love how it is both spoon and fork in one. It is made of a heavy duty plastic, which is easy to clean. In fact, I have noticed that it’s a little more easy to clean than my regular silverware at work.I didn’t want to just use disposable spoons and forks at work and this takes the place of them and fits nicely in my locker at work. It also comes in many colors. I would recommend this, but I think that some foods work better with the way it is set up, than others.I have a small mouth, and I don't like the taste of metal, oh I seem to default to these almost exclusively lately. An adult but I eat everything in a bowl with a spoon. Lol I bought the specifically for eating ramen. So I get just enough of the broth and I can still spear the noodles or wind them around the little teeth of the spork. I bought three just to keep for eating ramen but I ended up buying another set and another set and another set until now I have 12 or 15 of these things and they're the most used implement in my kitchen! They are sturdier than the ones from fast food restaurants, good for the environment because you don't throw them away, they go through the dishwasher on the top rack just fine, even the bottom rack if secured inside a silverware basket with a lid so they don't bounce out and hit the heat element. They have a nice texture that's not smooth or sharp, just a slight matte finish to them. I looked at a lot of different ones and it seems like a small thing to be particular about but I didn't want some that would snap, I wanted them to last and I think I got the best ones out there. I recommend these for house, for traveling/camping -- but especially for ramen!Used for my kids lunchbox she loves them and they work like they shouldI pack these for travel because it never fails….you get take-away and they forget to put utensils in the bag. These are easy to clean, very sturdy and take up very little room .Somehow my spoons and forks would never make it back home when my family would take lunch to school/work. With these sturdy utensils here, we no longer have these issues.I have a titanium spork w/serrated edge that I love, but wasn’t willing to splurge on a second. So, I bought these for a trip. They held up to being carted around in the bottom of a full backpack and withstood being used to cut crust on a pie. Great buy for the price. For a very small lunch bag, having only one utensil is a bonus, and these fit the bill very well. They are comfortable to hold and seem tough enough to withstand the rigors of travel. I do a quick hand wash, but they are fine in the dishwasher top rack. They are a sturdy nylon so should not break. A good, useable, pleasing item.I carry one in my purse. When ordering a quick takeout - soup/ salad/ noodles... this is perfect. I'm using fewer disposables. These are easy to wash by hand, or in the dishwasher. Buy for yourself and a friend.
